Global Licensing Specialist (GLS) fields requests for licenses for new translations of FamilyLife resources, as well as requests to print and distribute those resources in the partners’ home countries. By being the conduit through which FamilyLife resources are mobilized around the world, Global Licensing Specialist supports self-sustaining, indigenously-led FamilyLife ministries that win people to Christ, build them up in their faith, and send them out to mobilize others to do the same, all in the context of marriage and family.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Tactfully and responsibly respond to individuals from various nationalities, languages, and ethnic backgrounds, using Google Translate or other tools to adapt to their needs
Use SalesForce to record and track all aspects of resource translation, printing and distribution
Integrate seamlessly and work effectively with the other team members, namely the Global Resourcing Representatives, who train and coach our volunteers and staff around the world
Find solutions to make the licensing and permissions processes more efficient, in order to increase our capacity, so that we can help resource our partners abroad more effectively
Recognize and respect the gravity of the licensing and distribution process, as regards the legal and financial concerns involved with copywritten resources
We exist to help families grow together and impact their corner of the world.
Our vision is that every home would be a godly home.
At FamilyLife, we understand there is a gap between the intention we have for our families and what we actually experience in life. Too often, our relationships fall short of what we desire them to be.
But this isn’t what we were made for. Instead, we believe God made us to live in perfect community with Him and each other. We believe God’s word offers insight for us to bridge the gap — to make our intentions match the reality of our relationships. To that end, we create content and experiences to help families pursue what matters most and grow more fulfilling connections with God, each other, and their communities.
