SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Secure ongoing funding for FamilyLife outreaches by fulfilling the interests and passions of current and prospective donors. This will be done by providing prospective and current donors with giving opportunities, encouraging them to give, and assuring that as many as possible are retained and upgraded in their giving and involvement through personal ministry and ongoing relationship cultivation.
FOR THIS POSITION:
Qualify and acquire major donors through lifting of existing organizational donors, networking with existing caseload donors, and exploring innovative prospecting activities.
Create individual goals for each assigned donor based on the donor’s history of giving and organizational knowledge of giving potential.
Create a stewardship communications and proposal plan for each donor that takes into account donor’s passions, interests, motivations, giving patterns and ask preferences.
Faithfully execute the Stewardship plan on a timely basis so that donors are retained and upgraded to their God-given capacity to give.
Work with Donor Operations team to create offers, proposals, and asks that will be used with donors to secure gifts and report back on how their giving is making a difference.
Faithfully capture donor engagement activities in CRM software to assess relationship strength, assess best practices, and continually build organizational knowledge of donors.
Perform other major donor activities as may be required by management, including monthly reporting that accurately reflects caseload actions and performance.
Actively and intentionally grow in his / her Christian faith.
Maintain a positive witness for Christ.
Share what God is teaching him or her.
Consistently attend and participate in team / ministry devotional times.
